Katie Russell is an integral member of the Kalex Partners team, bringing a wealth of experience in forensic accounting and business valuations. Since graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Accounting) in 2018, Katie has contributed significantly to the firm’s success in her role as Senior Associate.

 

Katie is responsible for performing detailed analyses of financial statements and drafting comprehensive valuation and forensic reports for clients across a wide range of industries. She also oversees the quality control function at Kalex, ensuring that all reports conform to the firm’s rigorous standards of accuracy and clarity. Additionally, Katie manages the firm’s bookkeeping, handling the internal financial operations of the business.

 

Outside of her technical duties, Katie plays a key role in the administration of the GTA Accountants & Finance Network, a Continuing Professional Education network based in Toronto. She manages the network’s website and organizes both in-person and virtual seminars, coordinating speakers and managing sponsorship engagements.

 

Katie’s diverse skill set and leadership in multiple areas make her a vital asset to Kalex and its clients.
